Drilling mud agitator is a continuous and reliable drilling mud solids control system for the drilling fluid to maintain the uniformity of drilling fluid and suspend solid particles.

HYANG is available for vertical mud agitator and horizontal mud agitator, also for horizontal agitator we can produce direct type and coupling type according to the client's requirements. According to reduction gearbox, HYANG produces worm and wheel type and helical bevel type. Among them, helical bevel geared agitators are more popular because it’s stable and reliable performance. It transfers more efficiently to the shaft which can save more energy than a common worm and wheel gearbox.

HYJBQ series mud agitator is mainly used for mixing of drilling fluid to prevent drilling fluid solid particles depositing in the mud tank circulation system, thus to keep circulating drilling fluid performance is stable and mixing is even.

Working principle

Drilling mud agitator is suitable for a mixture of drilling fluid. HYJBQ mud agitator below 5.5kW adopts cycloid reducer, agitator above 7.5kW adopts turbo-worm type decelerating transmission. The pulsator can make the mixing liquid produce vortex motion to enhance the mixing effect. The tray sandwiched between blades can also prevent mud solid particles from depositing around lower blades after shutdown, it can reduce drag torque of the sediment on the blades during startup, thus avoiding motor overloading and burning.
